NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that under and by virtue of a Findings of Fact, Conclusions of Law, Order for Judgment and Judgment entered in the above entitled action on January 23, 2017, a certified copy of which has been delivered to me, directing the sale of real property hereinafter described to satisfy the amount found and adjudged due said Plaintiff in the above-entitled action from said Defendants, Scott C. Reinert and Lori Reinert, the undersigned Sheriff of Stearns County will sell at public auction, to the highest bidder, for cash, on March 29, 2017, at 10:00 a.m., at the Stearns County Sheriff’s Department, 807 Courthouse Square, St. Cloud, Minnesota, the premises and real estate described in said Judgment and Decree, to-wit:

THIS SUMMONS IS DIRECTED TO DEFENDANTS ABOVE-NAMED.
1. YOU ARE BEING SUED. The Plaintiff has started a lawsuit against you.
The Plaintiff’s Complaint against you is on file in the office of the Court Administrator of the above-named Court. Do not throw these papers away. They are official papers that affect your rights. You must respond to this lawsuit even though it may not yet be filed with the Court and there may be no court file number on this Summons.
2. YOU MUST REPLY WITHIN 20 DAYS TO PROTECT YOUR RIGHTS. You must give or mail to the person who signed this summons a written response called an Answer within 20 days of the date on which you received this Summons. You must send a copy of your Answer to the person who signed this Summons located at:

3. YOU MUST RESPOND TO EACH CLAIM. The Answer is your written response to the Plaintiff’s Complaint. In your Answer you must state whether you agree or disagree with each paragraph of the Complaint. If you believe the Plaintiff should not be given everything asked for in the Complaint, you must say so in your Answer.
4. YOU WILL LOSE YOUR CASE IF YOU DO NOT SEND A WRITTEN RESPONSE TO THE COMPLAINT TO THE PERSON WHO SIGNED THIS SUMMONS. If you do not answer within 20 days, you will lose this case. You will not get to tell your side of the story, and the Court may decide against you and award the Plaintiff everything asked for in the Complaint. If you do not want to contest the claims stated in the Complaint, you do not need to respond. A default judgment can then be entered against you for the relief requested in the Complaint.
5. LEGAL ASSISTANCE. You may wish to get legal help from a lawyer. If you do not have a lawyer, the Court Administrator may have information about places where you can get legal assistance. Even if you cannot get legal help, you must still provide a written Answer to protect your rights or you may lose the case.
6. ALTERNATIVE DISPUTE RESOLUTION. The parties may agree to or be ordered to participate in an alternative dispute resolution process under Rule 114 of the Minnesota General Rules of Practice. You must still send your written response to the Complaint even if you expect to use alternative means of resolving this dispute.
7. THIS LAWSUIT MAY AFFECT OR BRING INTO QUESTION TITLE TO REAL PROPERTY located in Stearns County, State of Minnesota, legally described as follows:
That part of Lot 37 of Auditor’s Subdivision of the West Half of Section 10 and the Northeast Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of Section 9, all in Township 126, Range 34, according to the recorded plat thereof, Stearns County, Minnesota, described as follows:
Commencing at the northwest corner of Lot 1, Block 1 of Brown Addition Plat 2, according to the recorded plat thereof, Stearns County, Minnesota; thence South 00° 03’ 09” West (assumed bearing) along the west line of said Lot 1, Block 1, a distance of 113.00 feet to the Point of Beginning of the land to be described; thence continuing South 00° 03’ 09” West along said west line, a distance of 85.00 feet; thence North 89° 53’ 20” West, parallel with the North line of said Lot 37, to the West line of said Lot 37, a distance of 166.00 feet; thence North 00° 03’ 09” East along said West line of Lot 37, a distance of 85.00 feet; thence South 89° 53’ 20” East, parallel with the North line of said Lot 37, a distance of 166.00 feet to the Point of Beginning.
The object of this action is to procure a judgment that the Plaintiff is the owner in fee simple absolute of said real estate, and that the Defendants, and each of them, have no right, title, estate, interest, or lien herein or thereon, or in any part thereof.

Elections for the office of town supervisor (3 year term) and town supervisor (2 year term) will be held on Tuesday March 14, 2017 at the Melrose Town Hall.. Polls will be open from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. The election results will be canvassed March 14, 2017.
