Schreiner 13th in state

Isaac Schreiner finished 13th in the state 100 Backstroke (BK) and was part of the tenth place 200 Medley Relay team along with Noah Glasener, Kenny Warzecha and Jake Enneking. He also swam with Enneking, Warzecha and Ben Heller as they finished 11th in the 400 Freestyle Relay (FSR).
Tenth was the highest finish of any Fusion swimmer. Warzecha also had a tenth place finish in the 100 Butterfly. Heller took 12th in the 100FS, and the 200FSR team of Heller, Glasener, Enneking and Warzecha at thirteenth.
Melrose-Sauk Centre finished 13th out of the 30 teams represented at the meet.
More details will appear in the March 10 issue of the Sauk Centre Herald.

Isaac Schreiner helped the Fusion set records in the 200MR, 400FSR and finished 13th in the 100BK a the state meet.

Fusion swim team sets two team records

Minneapolis-The Fusion swim team set two team records in at Class A state swim meet preliminary round on Friday at the U of M Aquatic Center.
No Fusion team member however, qualified for the championship round. The consolation and championship round will be on Saturday.
The records setting team bracketed the Fusion competition at state. In the first event, the 200 Medley Relay, the Fusion finished at 1:41.09. It is a team record and was faster than their seedtime, and placed them ninth in the competition.
The 400 Freestyle Relay team, again set the team record finishing at 3:17.01. That time earned them ninth place.
Others competing in the consolation round Saturday will be.
Ben Heller, 100 Freestyle;
Kenny Warzecha, 100 Butterfly
The 200 Freestyle Relay team and Isaac Schreiner in the 100 Backstroke.
Isaac Schreiner was a key part of two relay teams and in the 100BK as the Fusion qualified for six consolation heat events.
