St. Louis Park man arrested for assault, terroristic threats

Sauk Centre Police Dept. officers were dispatched to an unknown disturbance at 1:24 a.m. Thursday, at 509 1/2 Sinclair Lewis Ave., according to a press release from the Sauk Centre Police Department. Officers arrived on the scene and arrested Arcelus Antonio Williams, age 31, of Saint Louis Park on charges of domestic assault, 2nd degree assault, terroristic threats and disorderly conduct.
The police report stated during the investigation, officers learned that Williams threatened to kill his girlfriend with a knife, assaulted her and others inside the apartment.
Williams is being held in the Stearns County Jail awaiting a court appearance.

Road construction on County Road 186 starts July 21

Steams County motorists are advised that bituminous reclamation and resurfacing work will begin on Thursday, July 21, 2016, on CR 186 from
395th St. to TH 4 south of Sauk Centre. Local motorists will be able to continue utilizing the roadway. All other motorists are encouraged to utilize alternate routes. Local area motorists will encounter lane closures and are advised to use caution while travelling through the work zone. Motorists are advised to expect delays. Additional information and maps can be viewed online at http://www.co.steams.mn.us/PropertyRoads/RoadConstruction/MoreRoadProjec.... Dates and timeframes are weather dependent. The Contractor for this project is Tri-City Paving, Inc.
