Notice is hereby given to the qualified voters of Sauk Centre Township, County of Stearns, State of Minnesota, that the Annual Meeting and Election of Town Officers will be held on Tuesday, March 8, 2022.  In case of inclement weather, the meeting and election will be postponed until March 15, 2022.

The Annual Meeting will commence at 2:00pm to conduct all necessary business as prescribed by law.

The Election poll hours will be open from 3:00pm until 8:00pm; at which time voters will elect one supervisor. The Annual Meeting and Election will be held at the CMCU in Sauk Centre.

PUBLIC NOTICE

ORDINANCE PROVIDING CONDITIONS UPON WHICH DEDICATED TOWNSHIP ROADS MAY BE ACCEPTED

The Board of Supervisors for the Town of Sauk Centre, Stearns County, Minnesota, hereby ordains that on the 9th day of February 2022, the Sauk Centre Township Board of Supervisors adopted the above Ordinance.  Due to the lengthy content of the Ordinance, a brief summary follows:

Section 1. Purpose.  Identifies the purpose of the Ordinance.

Section 2. Authority.  Identifies the Township’s authority to adopt the Ordinance.

Section 3. Acceptance of Roads by Township.  Identifies that no roads will be accepted by the Township unless all of the requirements of this Ordinance have been met.

Section 4. Effect of Non-acceptance of Dedicated Roads.  Identifies that all roads not accepted by the Township shall be private roads for which the Township is not responsible.

Section 5. Requirements for Acceptance of Dedicated Roads.  Identified the requirements that must be met before the Township will accepted the dedicated roads.

Section 6. Adoption of Design Standards.  Identifies that the road design standards used by the Township may be modified from time to time by resolution.

Section 7. Acceptance of Dedicated Roads.   Identifies that upon compliance with the requirements of this Ordinance that the Township may accept a road if it finds such road to be in the public’s interest.

Section 8. Severability.  Validity of the Ordinance should a provision be declared invalid.

Section 9. Effective Date.  Date Ordinance becomes effective.

“Ordinance Providing Conditions Upon Which Dedicated Township Roads May Be Accepted” shall take effect and be in full force immediately following its adoption and upon publication.  A copy of the Ordinance can be viewed during office business hours by calling the Sauk Centre Township Clerk at (320) 352-0215.

MELROSE TOWNSHIP

Notice is hereby given to qualified voters that the Annual Township Election and Meeting will be held at the Town Hall, 41248 County Road 13, Melrose MN on Tuesday, March 8, 2022. The election polls will be open from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. for the purpose of electing:
